Article Processing Charge

The journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support article processing through publication. No separate submission fee or peer review fee is charged.

The journal provides two service options: Regular and Fast Track. Both have the same scope of work and follow the same editorial and academic standards. Fast Track gives priority to journal-controlled administrative work and editorial coordination; it does not change the depth of assessment, who has decision-making authority, or the result of peer review.

Fee Structure

The fees applicable to the journal are:

  • Submission Fee: IDR 0;
  • Peer Review Fee: IDR 0;
  • Regular APC: IDR 2,500,000 per article; and
  • Fast Track APC: IDR 3,000,000 per article.

The APC is charged per article rather than according to the number of authors. Regular and Fast Track are alternative service options, so each article is subject to one APC scheme.

Publication Service Options

Regular is a service in which journal work is processed according to the regular queue and work schedule.

Fast Track gives higher priority to administrative work, editorial coordination, and other journal-controlled steps leading to publication. It does not shorten the time authors need for scholarly revisions or require reviewers or editors to reach a particular conclusion.

Regular and Fast Track apply the same standards for editorial screening, peer review, substantive revision, editorial decisions, similarity screening, copyediting, proofreading, translation, production, and article finalization. Proofreading and translation are performed for every accepted manuscript during copyediting.

Service Selection and Changes

After submitting the manuscript, authors may select Regular or Fast Track through the OJS discussion at the submission stage. If no choice is communicated, the Editor-in-Chief informs the authors about the available options before assigning a Section Editor. The selected option is confirmed through editorial correspondence.

Authors may request a change from Regular to Fast Track. A confirmed Fast Track selection cannot be changed to Regular. If an author requests such a change, the journal declines the manuscript and blocks the author account from further submission.

APC Coverage

For every article accepted after peer review, the APC covers journal-managed services through copyediting, production, and publication, including:

  • administration and editorial workflow management;
  • communication and correspondence management through OJS;
  • coordination of the peer review process;
  • management of files and editorial process outputs;
  • copyediting;
  • translation;
  • similarity checking;
  • production and preparation of the layout or galley;
  • proofreading and article finalization;
  • management of metadata and bibliographic information; and
  • scheduling and publication of the article.

The editorial and production processes are managed through the OJS workflow, with correspondence available at each stage. Correspondence is used for communicating information, exchanging files, delivering review results, providing responses and confirmations, editing, proofing, and addressing other process requirements according to the stage in progress.

APC Payment

The selected Regular or Fast Track APC becomes payable only after the manuscript is declared suitable for publication through a final acceptance decision at the review stage. Authors must pay the APC in full before copyediting begins.

APC payments must be made only to the official bank accounts listed on this page. Authors must verify the bank name, account number, and account holder's name before making a transfer.

Any payment instruction specifying a bank account other than the official accounts listed on this page does not constitute a valid journal payment instruction.

Proof of payment must be submitted through the editorial correspondence channel for verification and recording of the article payment.

Service Standards and Related Policies

The Regular or Fast Track choice determines the priority of journal-controlled work and its service timing. It does not alter the depth of editorial screening or peer review, the editor's decision-making authority, or the academic outcome. Submission and publication remain subject to the journal's applicable editorial and integrity policies.
