A Contextual Green Event Model for the Pinisi Festival: An Analysis of Implementation Gaps and Structural Barriers

Festival Pinisi, sebagai Warisan Budaya Takbenda UNESCO, merupakan aset pariwisata vital bagi Kabupaten Bulukumba. Namun, festival ini menghadapi paradoks sebagai event massal yang berpotensi menjadi “antitesis keberlanjutan” akibat dampak lingkungan. Terdapat kesenjangan signifikan antara wacana green event global dengan implementasi faktual di tingkat lokal yang terkendala kondisi sosio-kultural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: menganalisis kesenjangan perencanaan konsep green event pada Festival Pinisi; mendiagnosis hambatan struktural, manajerial, dan kultural dalam pelaksanaannya; dan merumuskan model solusi kontekstual. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-studi kasus, data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan para stakeholder dan observasi lapangan, serta didukung data sekunder. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk menginterpretasi data pada empat dimensi utama: transportasi, pengelolaan limbah, eco-procurement, dan green marketing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi green event masih berada pada tahap inisiasi yang bersifat simbolis dan parsial. Kegagalan penerapan prinsip hijau ini disimpulkan tidak hanya bersifat teknis. Kegagalan ini berakar pada tiga hambatan sistemik: struktural (keterbatasan infrastruktur dan biaya), manajerial (ketiadaan regulasi teknis dan standar operasional prosedur yang mengikat), serta kultural (rendahnya kepatuhan perilaku pro-lingkungan). Sebagai kontribusi utama, penelitian ini memformulasikan kerangka kerja solusi transisi yang kontekstual. Model ini bertumpu pada tiga pilar: (1) revitalisasi tata kelola kebijakan Pemda, (2) inovasi program berbasis sinergi budaya-teknologi, dan (3) penguatan kapasitas komunitas dan UMKM lokal.
