Author Guidelines

General

  1. Attach a statement that the manuscript has never been published before, anywhere and in any form;
  2. Each Author must adapt his manuscript to the template and be written in Indonesian (for Indonesian Author) or English (for Foreign Author);
  3. The number of words in this manuscript is between 3,000 – 6,000 words (not including citation sources). Descriptions in manuscripts must be subject to grammatical structure, proper word selection (lexical), spelling and punctuation (orthography), and clear of typographical errors. Do a good and ethical paraphrasing of every quote from a previously published scholarly work. Flipping through words in quoted sentences to trick the results of similarity or plagiarism check apps is disgraceful behavior;
  4. Each manuscript will go through a similarity check. In similarity checking, the Editor will filter to exclude abstracts, methods, and references/bibliography. The Editor does not exclude quotes/citations to assess the proportion between direct quotes and descriptions of results and discussion in the manuscript. The Author must understand that journal articles emphasize data findings and arguments based on the results of the Author's analysis. This condition also determines the results of the review process. In this case, in addition to answering the problem and purpose, this research must also contain novelty, originality, and the value of scientific contributions. Therefore, manuscripts that have more than 40% similarity checking results will be returned for correction by the Author;
  5. Manuscript Title Maximum 15 words typed with Cambria 16pt, Bold, 1,5 space, Capitalize Each Word, and Center;
  6. Include the full names of all authors. The name must consist of at least two words and the last word cannot be abbreviated. Typed in Cambria 14pt, 1,15 space, Capitalize Each Word, Center, and without a title. Under the name are the fields of expertise, the name of the institution and the email address of the author is typed with Cambria 10pt, Italic, 1 space, Capitalize Each Word, and edge to the center;
  7. Abstract is typed with Cambria 10pt, Italic, 1 space, Sentence case, Justify, consists of 100 – 250 words, one paragraph, without citation source, without abbreviations/acronyms, and without footnotes. Abstract written not in the form of mathematics, question, and guesses. The abstract contains: research purposes, research methods, research results, and conclusions;
  8. Use words or phrases that specifically describe the content of the manuscript, keywords separated by semicolons (;), and a maximum of 5 words;
  9. It is forbidden to insert text with image formats for all types of captions: Table, Graphic/Chart, or Figure. Tables are created using the table format in Word. Graphics/Charts are created using the chart format in Excel and then inserted into the Manuscript file. While the descriptions in Figures are replaced with symbols, the symbols are explained under Figures;
  10. Citation source in this manuscript use the bodynote format. Bodynotes are written in APA Style 7th Edition. Sample writing can be visited here;
  11. It is forbidden to use footnote formats other than interview results. Structure: Interview Results with [Position in Institutions, Organizations, or Social Communities]. [Informant Name], on [Interview Date].

Metadata Must Contains:

  1. Full names of all authors;
  2. Emails and affiliations of all authors;
  3. Abstracts and keywords in English and Indonesian;
  4. At least 15 citation sources with a maximum publication time of the past ten years. A minimum proportion of 70% or 11 sources of citations are from journal articles that are registered or have DOI. It is forbidden to use citation sources from blogs and Wikipedia. The citation source is written in APA Style 7th Edition format and sorted alphabetically.

Introduction Must Contains:

  1. Gap analysis;
  2. Three to five relevant previous research (state of the art);
  3. Novelty and originality;
  4. Research purposes;
  5. Value of scientific contributions.

Method

The research method used must be written following scientific principles. Literature study/desk study consists of:

  1. Types and approaches of research;
  2. Types and sources of research data;
  3. The technique of collecting research data; and
  4. Research data analysis technique.

Meanwhile, the field study/case study consists of:

  1. Types and approaches of research;
  2. Research location;
  3. Informants/population and samples;
  4. Techniques for determining informants/populations;
  5. Types and sources of research data;
  6. The technique of collecting research data; and
  7. Research data analysis technique.

Result and Discussion Must Contains:

  1. Describe and analyze research results based on the theory used and under the research methods that have been determined;
  2. Description and Discussion Research in the form of statistics or tabulation if using quantitative analysis techniques;
  3. Description and discussion The research is in the form of interpretation if it uses qualitative analysis techniques;
  4. Describe comparisons and or similarities from the analysis and discussion of previous research references;
  5. The research results answer the problem and research purposes.

Conclusions and Suggestions

  1. Conclusions are not repeated descriptions of results and discussion but brief descriptions in the form of whole sentences;
  2. Conclusions answer research questions and problems;
  3. The conclusion pays attention to the 'consistent triangle', namely between the problem - the purposes - the conclusion, which is an effort to check and recheck;
  4. Suggestions contain academic recommendations, concrete follow-up, or policy implications of the conclusions reached;
  5. Described in 1 (one) paragraph by combining the results/findings and ideas/suggestions.

References

  1. Authors must include at least 15 citation sources with a maximum publication time of the past ten years;
  2. A minimum proportion of 70% or 11 sources of citations are from journal articles that are registered or have DOI;
  3. It is forbidden to use citation sources from blogs and Wikipedia;
  4. All citation sources used in the manuscript must be listed in the References;
  5. All sources listed in the References are citations used in the manuscript;
  6. The citation source is written in APA Style 7th Edition format. Sample writing can be visited here;
  7. The systematic writing of citation sources in the Bibliography is immediately sorted alphabetically.
