SIGn Journal of Social Science is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by CV. Social Politic Genius (SIGn). The journal publishes original research and scholarly analyses across the social sciences and welcomes interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary contributions addressing social, economic, political, legal, cultural, educational, public health, tourism, and other relevant societal issues.

The journal places substantive quality, methodological consistency, academic integrity, source traceability, and editorial transparency at the core of its scholarly publication process.

SIGn Journal of Social Science is published by CV. Social Politic Genius (SIGn) as a medium for scholarly communication and dissemination in the social sciences.

The journal considers articles that demonstrate relevance to its scholarly scope, clarity of the research problem or objective, novelty, scholarly contribution, and consistency among the methods, data, analysis, and conclusions.

Scholarly Scope and Academic Orientation

The journal is oriented toward advancing social science scholarship through disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and multidisciplinary approaches. Articles may develop theoretical, empirical, conceptual, policy-oriented, or practice-oriented analyses that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and understanding of a wide range of societal issues.

Publication Profile

SIGn Journal of Social Science publishes two issues per year, covering the following publication periods:

  • June–November; and
  • December–May.

Articles are published after completing the applicable stages of editorial screening, peer review, revision, editorial decision, copyediting, proofreading, translation, production, and publication finalization.

Editorial and Peer Review Model

Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements undergo scholarly evaluation through double-blind peer review. The identities of authors and reviewers are not disclosed to one another during the review process.

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript's substance, methodology, scholarly contribution, consistency of argumentation, use of sources, and quality of presentation. Review results form part of the editor's consideration in determining appropriate editorial actions and decisions.
