Efektivitas Penyidikan di Era Digital: Studi Kasus Inovasi Teknologi di Kepolisian Resor Rokan Hilir

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana inovasi teknologi yang diimplementasikan mampu meningkatkan efektivitas penyidikan, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan teknologi di Polres Rokan Hilir. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode gabungan field research dan normatif, di mana data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif guna mendeskripsikan masalah dan menjawab tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi teknologi di Polres Rokan Hilir memberikan dampak positif pada efektivitas penyidikan, terutama dalam hal kecepatan dan efisiensi, akuntabilitas dan transparansi, serta koordinasi antar unit. Lebih lanjut, teknologi memiliki peranan penting dalam pengelolaan barang bukti, peningkatan akurasi data, dan penanganan kasus-kasus kompleks, seperti yang terlihat dalam studi kasus pencurian digital. Penerapan teknologi penyidikan di Polres Rokan Hilir juga sejalan dengan kerangka hukum yang relevan di Indonesia. Namun, implementasi teknologi tersebut masih dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti keterbatasan anggaran, kurangnya keterampilan teknologi, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa inovasi teknologi di Polres Rokan Hilir telah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi kepolisian, sehingga modernisasi penyidikan melalui penerapan teknologi merupakan langkah strategis yang perlu terus didukung dan dioptimalkan.
